Ybreaking Pointdialectical Behavioral Training

Applied behavior analysts seek to break down and examine the fundamental human behaviors that most people take for granted. While the insights it reveals have applications in numerous fields, like prison reform, adult health and social sciences, applied behavior analysis, or ABA, is also well known for the benefits it confers upon teachers and students. Behavior: A horse acting out when riding can look like a number of different things. It can be bucking, rearing, taking off, bolting, etc. When dealing with a horse like this, make sure you rule out any health issue before you assume that it’s simply disrespectful behavior.

There are no magic formulas or guarantees that a dog's behavioral problems can be quickly or completely transformed as most have evolved over time and some are trauma based. In our initial evaluation and lesson, you will come to understand the potential for change and prospect for success. Most see remarkable improvement after just one session. However, habits do take time to change, and it will take consistency on the owner's part to achieve lasting results.

We guide you in the process of housebreaking your dog or puppy the natural way. We use a positive approach customizing a schedule around your daily routine to make it easiest on you. We can help you with paper training, teaching your puppy to potty outside or a combination of both. Our goal is to eliminate all accidents from the beginning which can be done in the first lesson.

The Housebreaking program is set-up, customized and questions answered in one session. In addition, lessons are given in the convenience of the pet's owner's home.

'It had been over 12 years since I’d had a puppy in the house and I was not prepared when Summitt joined the household. She was a peeing, pooping, eating machine with very sharp teeth. Summitt was going to be a large dog and I am in my 60’s. I knew I needed help to control her and enrolled Summitt in Wendy’s Kindergarten class.

After the first class I knew it would make a difference. Wendy’s methods work and Summitt is under my control. Summitt and I now love to play together. I intend to enroll in Wendy’s advanced classes.'

'I would like to thank Wendy for her expertise and words of wisdom with 'our diva'…Ms. Gracie. Gracie was a rescue and was very thin, scared and shaky when we first got her. Due to her condition we loved, pampered, and gave her anything and everything she wanted whenever she wanted it. We wanted her to know she was loved!! Little did we know that would set the stage for a 'diva attitude.' She barked a lot, begged a lot, jumped on you a lot and was just in constant need of attention. There were times, I admit, I regretted rescuing her because of her 'neediness.' A good friend told me of Wendy so we thought we would give it a try. I am SO thankful we did. In just ONE private lesson she is a changed dog and we are changed owners. Wendy was very good at explaining everything and even during the lesson with Wendy you could see things changing with Gracie. We are forever grateful. Gracie is still playful, fun and very loving but much more calm and READY to please. If you are even considering asking Wendy for help...DO IT!! You will not be sorry...she is truly amazing.'

'We took our Boston Terrier Puppy, 'Zeke,' through Wendy's puppy class and saw amazing results even within the first couple of weeks. Wendy and her assistant, Anna, were very available during the class to assist us in learning how to perform the commands with our dogs. Likewise, I had an individual training session with Wendy related to potty training. She explains things very practically and walked me through the potty training process. She left me with written instructions and was available to answer my phone calls when I had questions.

Her knowledge and expertise was remarkable, and she was very thorough in addressing our concerns, as well as, just giving us a practical understanding of the mind of a dog.'
